How long is the audit log retained?
Between 30 days and 7 years depending on plan.
Free: 30 days · Team: 90 days · Business: 1 year · Enterprise: 1–7 years (configurable per log class).
The audit log is tamper-evident (hash-chained). Export to your SIEM daily/weekly if you need longer retention than your plan ships with.
We never purge the log automatically during an active incident response window. If a retention clock would delete data under legal hold, it is paused until the hold is released.
